We have a 36 hour post available to work in the Inverness and Ross Shire MSK Physiotherapy Team.
We are looking for a suitably qualified Physiotherapist who has completed a range of rotations, preferably within an NHS setting. You will be qualified to degree level and have at least 3 years’ experience. You will provide Specialist MSK Physiotherapy services in an outpatient setting. Experience of supervising students and other staff is essential as this will be an important part of the role. You will work in partnership with secondary and primary care such as consultants, GP/FCP colleagues, and other community stakeholders.
We offer the right candidate an opportunity to progress their knowledge and skills in a busy department, supported by a number of senior staff with varying specialities. You will be supported with your learning and development in MSK/Rheumatology/Hydrotherapy/Orthopaedics and Pelvic Health.
Ability to travel between sites is another essential part of the post. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team. You must have HCPC registration and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is highly desirable.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
