• A successful and sustained track record of raising levels of attainment and progress at A-level
• Strong commitment to extra-curricular provision
• Effective use of data to inform appropriate actions
Professional knowledge and understanding:
• Current educational issues especially related to the curriculum at KS5
• Current teaching, learning and assessment issues relevant to the needs of the subjects
• Effective strategies for leading and managing departmental evaluation and improvement

Required for September 2025 for this heavily over-subscribed and successful Church of England Academy, and award-winning Outstanding School (SIAMS).This vacancy becomes available as the current post holder will be on maternity leave. The length of post is dependent on the return of the post-holder but up to a maximum of 12 months.
