Job Title: Assistant Planner

Reporting to: Global Planning Manager
Role Purpose:
Jimmy Choo operates in 150+ DOS across 13 regions in 24 currencies as well as a growing E-commerce platform. Planning and Buying is organised centrally and through 4 regional teams, Europe, North America, Japan and Asia. This role will work alongside them to provide a global picture of sales performance, understanding the driving forces within each market and determining new ways to maximise profitability.
Nature and Scope of Position:
* Produce detailed analysis on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, providing insights into performance and key drivers, working with all regions across multiple currencies.
* Produce detailed weekly sales commentary and actions to senior management.
* Work with the regional teams and the IT function to manage data across the business, reviewing and advising on data integrity to ensure accuracy.
* Collaborate with regional partners to share knowledge of global sales, understand performance, and identify risks and opportunities.
* Support the monthly re-order process for all regions, analysing global stock position to propose global stock movement where necessary.
* Work closely with the warehouse team on stock transfers.
* Manage central stock holding to support wholesale and retail demand, recommending ways in which stock can be managed more efficiently.
* Conduct regular sales and stock analysis for central stock holding to create size ratios.
* Key Item Planning – monthly re-forecasting of carryover Key Items.
* Provide ad-hoc sales analysis to support seasonal and continuity planning.
* Collaborate and maintain relationships across the business.
Experience Required:
* Graduate calibre.
* Experience working within a head office retail organisation.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sales analysis KPIs, pivot tables, Vlookups, SUMIFS).
* Strong commercial and analytical skills (good interpreter of information and storyteller).
* Experience in Merchandise Planning or as a Merchandising Admin Assistant.
Particular Skills/Knowledge Required:
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Power BI knowledge desirable.
* Experience using a Planning system.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with proven ability to present information effectively and appropriately.
* A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* A methodical approach to root cause analysis.
* Highly motivated, self-starter and completer finisher.
* Ability to work independently.
