My Client is recruiting for a Production Manager in the Water Sector.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring high-quality output, and leading a team of workers to meet production targets. You will be a key player in optimizing efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, implement and control the production schedule for each job.
2. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet objectives.
3. Analyse production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
4. Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
5. Prepare and maintain production reports.
6. Estimate production costs.
7. Maintain stock levels for production.
8. Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management.
9. Create, maintain and improve procedures that are consistent with the company's ISO 9001:2015 quality standard and Business Management System.
10. Comply with the company's Health & Safety policy & procedures, and take reasonable care of your own and others' safety who may be affected by your work.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
2. Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control.
3. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Optional: a degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
9. Optional: Experience with Sage system.
