Salary + Benefits: £25000 - £30000 per annum
Excellent opportunity for a Sales Administrator or Sales Executive who is ready to take their career to the next step. This is a great opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude and who thrives on delivering customer excellence. Our client is looking for someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone to speak with customers and get out and about when needed to visit clients.
After a period of 6 - 9 months when you are fully trained, you will be required to travel approximately bi-monthly within the UK as well as Europe, Middle East, Africa & India.
Duties:
1. Once trained, you would be supplying information to enable new customers to understand the product range and the usage of the company's materials.
2. Manage and nurture existing customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
3. Identify and secure new business accounts to achieve target sales levels.
4. Perform other duties as required by the Managers of the business.
5. Review and follow-up on customer quotes; and enter quotes won as customer orders.
6. Quote materials and tooling, including items in stock or manufactured equipment; obtain quotations from other suppliers for non-standard materials when necessary; maintain quote records and follow-up with outstanding quotations.
7. Process customer orders, including processing for shipment. Ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
8. Inform clients of pricing, lead times, terms and conditions, ship dates, etc.
9. Develop and maintain professional knowledge of Company products, services, marketing collateral, and catalogues.
10. Exploit any opportunity for identifying new business and further opportunities with existing customers to support business growth.
11. Identify inactive customers, analyse past orders, and initiate customer contact to generate return business.
12. Understand and comply with the sales system, process, and maintenance of the contact database.
13. Adhere to and comply with the Quality Manual and procedures.
14. Proficient in computer usage.
15. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
16. Proven experience in a similar sales or account management role.
17. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Our client prefers candidates who possess their own transport as public transport isn't that reliable to this location.
