We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking specialist nurse to join our Health Advisor/ Clinical Nurse Specialist team. This is a developmental role, offering full support to complete comprehensive training in all aspects of sexual health within a two-year timescale.
Based in Slough, we are a busy level 3 sexual health service, with additional satellite clinics in Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, and Bracknell and we operate Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift every 4 to 6 weeks.
Given the sensitive nature of the role, we are looking for candidates who are open-minded, non-judgmental, and capable of working in a highly confidential environment. Previous experience in family planning or sexual health within a GUM setting is desirable.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll have access to excellent training opportunities, including non-medical prescriber training.

Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver a high standard of sexual reproductive healthcare to patients accessing the sexual health service.
· Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, non-judgmental care, while upholding professional and ethical standards. Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members.
· Manage pathology results, ensuring patients receive accurate information, advice, treatment, and support following an STI diagnosis.
· Supervise and mentor junior staff and nursing students, taking on an active leadership role within the nursing team.
· While primarily based at the Garden Clinic in Slough, you may need to travel to clinics in Bracknell, Windsor, and Maidenhead. A UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes is desirable.
