We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our team and play a vital role in managing our human capital. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to utilize your expertise in HR consulting and generalist HR, ensuring the success of our growing organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training, policy development, and reporting.
* Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for new employees.
* Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees regarding entitlements, benefits, and employment conditions under the Fair Work Act, NES, Enterprise Agreements, and Awards.
* Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with workplace legislation.
* Support managers in performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievances, and workplace investigations.
* Develop and deliver HR-related training programs to promote employee growth and development.
* Assist with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
* Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.
* Collaborate with the finance team to manage HR-related financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, and benefits administration.
* Provide leadership and support to the HR Admin Officer to ensure daily operational effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws, including the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (MA000100), workplace safety standards, and labour regulations.
* Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support business objectives.
* Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic HR initiatives aligned with company goals.
* Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, while maintaining confidentiality.
* Utilize HR information systems and data analysis to support decision-making and process improvements.
* Provide guidance in workforce planning, succession planning, and employee training programs.
* Stay up to date with legislative changes and industry standards, particularly in the NDIS and healthcare sectors.
Requirements
* 3-5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a consulting or healthcare setting.
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and industrial relations.
* Proven experience in employment law compliance, especially in the NDIS and health services sectors.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees and senior management.
* Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis.
* Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
