Dandara is currently recruiting for a Sales Trainee to join the Construction, Commercial, Land & Planning, Sales or Technical team of our South East regions head office, based in Tunbridge Wells.
About the role
This role is ideal for school/college leavers looking to further their education, alongside gaining first hand industry experience. The Sales Trainee will be put on a 1-year training programme structured and carried out by an industry expert who supports a range of housebuilders with sales training - designed to understand how to successfully drive sales. You will work from a sales office based at one of our developments, as well as the local regional office- there will also be opportunitiy to travel around all of our developments within the South East region. At the end of the training programme, you will be a qualified Sales Consultant equipped with the skills and knowledge to work as part of an enthusiastic and professional sales team.
Please note, this is a permanent position will be starting at the beginning of September.
What you will do:
Offer innovative ideas to the wider team, demonstrating your capabilities while being supported by our training programme along with a professional qualification through a higher-level apprenticeship.
Interact with our key decision makers and your peers, providing you with a sound knowledge of our housebuilding process.
Support the management team in day-to-day operations and decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and initiatives forward
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents
Participate in training programs to enhance leadership and management skills
Any other ad-hoc duty relevant to your department that will support you in your studies.

What you will have:
Essential
Have at least 3 GCSE’s Grade A*- C (9-4) Including Math’s and English, alongside two A-Levels (160 UCAS Points).
A full UK driving license
Great communication, problem solving and organisation skills
Demonstrate ability to be enthusiastic, proactive and a team player
Passionate about working with customers to find their new home
Ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in getting to know customers in a professional and friendly manner
A keen interest in new homes and building sound knowledge of our house types
