Trainee Safety Assessor

Up to £35,000pa - depending on experience

The company provides advice and support to a variety of industries to ensure their workforce is safe and protected. As an assessor, you will be visiting sites to test and inspect their machinery to make sure it is safe and compliant.
The role of Trainee Safety Assessor includes:
1. TRAVEL - in this role, you will probably be working away from home every other week, fully expensed.
2. PUWER - Visiting high-end clients to assess their manufacturing or production sites to ensure they comply with Health & Safety regulations.
3. Working on site with known UK brands to assess their H&S standards and provide reports on recommended actions for non-compliance.
4. Working with site staff to educate, inform, and advise.
5. Identify non-conformance to UK, European, and International standards.
6. (Training on specific regulations etc. will be available, but basic knowledge is essential to start.)
To be considered for the role of Trainee Safety Assessor, you should have:
1. Knowledge of Risk Assessments or machinery installations or machinery regulations.
2. A formal Health & Safety qualification would be an advantage (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
3. A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background would also be an advantage.
4. A full clean driving licence.
5. A willingness to travel, learn, and develop your skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with face-to-face professionalism.
