Fractional Head of Finance | VC Backed Media Tech Scale-Up | 2-3 days per week
Harmonic is proud to be working exclusively with a VC Backed MediaTech Scale-Up who are looking for a hands-on fractional Head of Finance (number 1 in finance). This position is remote based.
The Client
Our client has built a fantastic reputation and carved a niche within their subsector which is at the intersection of Media and Technology. They have received funding from renowned investors and are looking to continue to scale the business.
They are now looking for a Fractional Head of Finance who is able to support in managing the day-to-day finances of the organisation and continue to drive improvements and efficiencies.
The Role
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be responsible for optimising financial processes and setting up strategic initiatives. Taking full ownership for the smooth running of the finance function, managing a PQ accountant. You will also be owning the FP&A elements, including insightful financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth running of the finance function, managing a team of 1
* Produce insightful monthly reports and management accounts
* Owning FP&A processes, including budgets and forecasts
* Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
* Ad-hoc project work for the CEO, COO and Investors
Essential Experience
* Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA)
* Previous experience as the number 1 in finance
* Prior experience working in a start-up/scale-up environment
Day Rate: £650-£800 per day (Outside IR35)
