About Us:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled, committed and flexible Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Portland Spencer Academy is part of the Spencer Academies Trust and as such benefits from a range of opportunities for further development.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has relevant qualifications and training in line with the new DFE qualifications list, i.e., NVQ/CACHE in working with children.
2. Can offer outstanding support for teaching.
3. Is keen to lead in a classroom as part of a team.
4. Has experience of supporting teaching and learning across school from EYFS to KS2.
5. Has a wide range of behaviour management techniques.
6. Has a commitment to making a difference to children’s lives.
7. Has drive and an enthusiastic approach to work as a positive member of an excellent team.
8. Is flexible to support and has excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
9. Has an ability to foster strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and other professionals.
