Our client & the role
We are proud to be working with a leading name in the world of land access consultancy services. This position will focus on a single large project but the business is heavily involved in multiple projects across the UK and the successful candidate may evolve into these other projects over time.
Responsibilities:
1. Identifying ownership on affected land, both freehold and leasehold, including any other rights to third parties.
2. Arranging access to the land to facilitate the completion of project work.
The Candidate
Liaising with different departments and stakeholders, the ideal candidate will naturally be a good communicator with an eye for detail.
Ideally, you'll have a thorough understanding or appreciation of Land Referencing, including utilising the Land Registry, and working experience of relevant IT and GIS software. Experience in liaising with landowners, occupiers, and statutory and non-statutory consultees would be a huge advantage.
Additionally, an understanding of agricultural practices, the rural economy, and issues faced by farmers and stakeholders would be an advantage enabling you to relate to those you'll be dealing with daily.
