About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Team Leader at our potato processing site in Westwick, Norfolk.
The Hygiene Team Leader will work to high, demanding standards. They will be responsible for delivering a clean and food safe environment, ensuring safe and cost-effective practices are adopted throughout the team. They will also share their specialist knowledge with others to continuously improve efficiencies:
1. Plan, Organise, Manage and Motivate to maximise site output, ensuring equipment and staff are working effectively and efficiently.
2. Make sure stock take is carried out promptly on a Sunday afternoon and ensuring that all cleaning equipment and chemicals are in stock for the following week via the Hygiene Manager.
3. Enforce relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
4. Report immediately any incidents and situations potentially hazardous to the health and safety of personnel and equipment that may come to your attention.
5. Ensure a healthy, safe, and clean working environment always.
6. Ensure adequate resources are available to meet required production output.
7. Plan and maintain any training requirements.
8. Assist in the monitoring and recording of daily hygiene cleaning schedules.
9. Report any damaged equipment finds to the Hygiene manager or Shift manager.
10. Any other duties as assigned as per senior management request.
Expected Start Date: July 2024
Hours of work: Permanent weekend - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 8pm for 37.5 hours.
SALARY: £15.45 per hour.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
For this role we require the successful candidates to:
* Numeracy and English literacy skills.
* Food Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCP level 2.
* Organisational ability and proficient Microsoft Office skills.
* Previous experience working within a factory Hygiene team.
