Job Title: Welder/ Operator
Division: Weir Minerals
Location: Todmorden, Onsite/Shift
Purpose of Role: An experienced Welder/ Clansman Robot Operator is required to join the fettling department. As a full-time member you will have experience of dressing white irons and SG castings with high frequency hand tools, finishing of iron and steel castings to required standards prior to machining.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Have previous experience Welding and fettling
2. Be able to finish parts after the welding process
3. Experience with hand tools such as grinders
4. Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
5. Ideal candidate will have used welding and fettling hand tools.
6. Have a good eye for detail.
7. Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
8. Working individually and part of a diverse team.
9. Rotate between three shifts, 06:00 – 14:00hrs, 14:00 – 22:00hrs and as required when covering holidays 22:00 – 06:00hrs
