Community Health Administration Team Coordinator

Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join The Community Health Administration Team.
The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services requiring clear communication and liaison skills. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.
This is a full time role but part time hours can be considered.
Main duties of the job
* The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to a team of healthcare professionals.
* To work within a fast paced service, supporting performance by ensuring clinical diaries are effectively managed and escalating where necessary to Team Lead and Service Lead.
* To coordinate the Administration Team's roles and responsibilities.
* To supervise and develop staff within the Administration Team.
* The post holder will have responsibility for line managing any lower band clerical staff assigned to them and will be required to work as part of a team and organise and provide cross cover during periods of staff absence.

Qualifications
* Education to GCSE level/GCE ‘O’ Level
* Word processing - Qualified to RSA III/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification/demonstrable skills (60+ wpm at 95% accuracy).
* Customer Service Qualification
* Shorthand Qualification
Experience
* Experience in undertaking a full range of office management and secretarial procedures and their application to improve service efficiency and effectiveness in a health environment
* Experience of working in a supervisory role
* Experience of using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook
* Experience of using IM&T systems for data extraction/entry
* Experience of successfully working within tight time frames and to deadlines
* Minute taking experience
* Experience of managing and mentoring others
* Experience of using Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Access

* Advanced keyboard skills.
