The Opportunity We're looking for a hands-on IT Operations Coordinator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning chaos into clarity. This is a role for someone who loves doing the work — not just talking about it. You’ll be the kind of person who sees inefficiency and thinks, “I can automate that” and who knows their way around Microsoft 365. You'll collaborate closely with suppliers and play a key role internalising critical IT functions. You’ll start as a coordinator but there is real scope to develop into a strategic leader within IT operations as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities will Include (but not limited to) Coordinate day-to-day IT operations - ensuring service quality, resolving issues and maintaining operational continuity across global teams. Manage External and Internal Stakeholders - ensuring service levels and accountability. Develop and implement a lifecycle management system - for hardware, software and services. Lead or assist in automation initiatives - to remove manual processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs. Champion IT best practices - compliance frameworks and operational policy development (ISO27001, ITIL, etc.). Handle technical escalations – providing a personalised support experience. Implement monitoring and alerting solutions — ideally using Microsoft technologies. ✅ We would love you to have the following skills & experience Excellent experience working experience in IT Ops, Systems Admin or Digital Workplace Engineering — ideally within an MSP or fast-moving enterprise. Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure admin knowledge — you know your way around Intune, AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and PowerShell. Experience in automation (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, Python). Exposure to ITIL, ISO27001, and best practice frameworks. A solid understanding of IT security, access control, and compliance policies. Some networking awareness (understanding of OSI model, firewalls, routers — not deep dive level). Strong communicator — both written and verbal. And have the ability to break the technical down into laymen terms Nice to Have Prior experience supporting enterprise execs or high-touch stakeholders. Comfortable leading on Agile practices Curious about AI, APIs, other cloud providers, and the future of IT. Interest in growing into an IT Operations Lead role over time.
