Lorien are currently working with a Cyber Security Services business as they expand their operations with a new office in Manchester. They have recently restructured their sales function to benefit both clients and the wider business, splitting it into New Business, Account Management, and Channel.
I am currently supporting them with the first hire for a Head of New Business Development who will drive performance across a team of Business Development Managers to exceed the company's 'New business goals'. Reporting to the Sales Director, this team will focus on clients who have 'never traded with the business before'. As part of this role, you must plan, drive, and refine the New Business Strategy to generate demand and maintain a healthy conversion rate. You will lead a repeatable New Business Engine with the right people and methodology that will lead the organization to phenomenal results. Additionally, you will identify appropriate talent in the market, looking for self-starters with a growth mindset.
Experience:
* Understanding and experience of driving new business growth either as an individual contributor or sales leader.
* Experience of running a team in a people management capacity as a Lead or in a coaching/mentoring capacity.
* Experience of working with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and/or Vimeo.
* Proven experience and capability of building a comprehensive, data-based ramp-up plan that improves funnel, conversion, revenue, and gross profit.
* Experience in selling IT services, ideally with a background in Cyber Security, selling Pen Testing or Cyber Essentials.
This role will be based on a hybrid model, operating out of their offices within Manchester City Centre.
The salary will be around GBP75k with additional benefits and a generous commission scheme.
