About the role
We are currently seeking additional Teaching Assistants – Special Needs to work within our partner SEND school settings in Castleford. This role involves supporting young people and children with a range of special educational needs.
The Teaching Assistant – Special Needs role involves supporting school-aged pupils who have been identified as having additional needs, including ASD, PMLD, Complex Needs, Mobility, SEMH, and MLD.
About the school
Located in the Castleford area with easy access via public transport and ample car parking. We are continually seeking caring, quality staff members who, with experience and training, may become full-time or supply support staff.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting within the last 2 years, with references obtainable from these roles.
* Ability to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, registered with the Update Service.
* Commitment to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults, including thorough interviewing and referencing checks.

Salary
£85 to £100 per day, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
Minimum experience required:
