Job Description:
* Interviews are conducted via MS Teams. The service operates flexibly, with staff working from the office on a rota basis or as required for meetings, typically one or two days per week, as agreed by the Manager. Face-to-face visits are also continued.
* The role involves working in the community with young people experiencing a mental health crisis at high risk of self-harm.
* Home visits are conducted three times a week for each allocated case, with additional visits to cover for absent colleagues.
* The Senior Nurse supervises Band 6 and Band 5 nurses within the team.
* Supporting the clinical lead in managing the clinical aspects of the service.
* Participating in service development initiatives.
* Driving across East and West Suffolk as required.
* Operating and recording data on System 1.
* Participating in triage meetings and multidisciplinary team (MDT) review meetings.
* Presenting cases to the MDT for review.
* Completing safety plans, formulations, and care plans related to young people in mental health crises.
