Do you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces? Love the simple satisfaction of helping others feel at home? Then we’d love to welcome you to CrossReach as a Relief Housekeeping Assistant!
A little about the role:
You'll help us keep living areas tidy and safe, making a real difference to the lives of the people we support. You’ll be:
Keeping rooms and communal spaces clean and comfortable
Helping service users maintain their personal areas, always with kindness and respect
Pitching in as a valued part of the team
Following health and safety practices to keep everyone safe
Growing your skills through training and team support
No previous housekeeping experience? No problem. If you’re hardworking, reliable, and ready to learn, we’ll provide full support. (If you’ve worked in a care environment before, that’s a bonus but not a must.)
You'll need basic computer skills (things like Microsoft Office and using the internet), and to be happy respecting the Christian ethos of our organisation. We warmly welcome applicants of all faiths, beliefs, or none as long as you are comfortable supporting a workplace that celebrates Christian values.
You'll also need to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme but don't worry, we’ll guide you through every step.
Why choose relief work?
Flexibility! Pick up shifts when it suits you, and enjoy being part of a supportive, caring team. It's a perfect fit if you're looking for a role that works around your life.
Sound like your kind of role?
We’d love to hear from you and we can't wait to welcome you into the team!
