Audit Facilitator - MSN for Neurosurgery - Planning and Development
The Role
The Managed Service Network for Neurosurgery (MSN) is a national Network responsible for the delivery of a single collaborative neurosurgical service provided in four centres in Scotland. We are looking for an Audit Facilitator to support the Network nationally but primarily for audit work relating to NHS Tayside and Grampian. As part of a national team, you will be expected to collect audit data using a number of different systems: e.g. TRAK, Clinical Portal and OPERA etc. You will build good relationships with the multidisciplinary teams who look after adult and paediatric patients to ensure that the audit data is complete, accurate and timely. Providing feedback to the teams is a key part of the role. In addition you will fulfil a coordinating role to facilitate the local improvement activities which will involve working with the clinical team, patients and staff on various quality improvement initiatives to ensure the quality of the service meets patients needs.

* Life Science or Numeracy Degree or equivalent experience
* Experience within a healthcare environment
* Experience in interacting with professionals at varying levels of seniority
* Experience in the collection of data
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Confident communicator
* Self-motivated with drive to achieve excellence
* Ability to work as a team member but also work in isolation
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
* Interpersonal skills demonstrating maturity and sensitivity
* High degree of competence in computer skills using Microsoft Office
* Must hold a UK/EU/EAA driving licence to travel to multiple sites and Health Boards.

Please note this is a part-time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Planning and Development within Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters.
The working pattern for this role is Monday-Friday.
