About the Role This flexible position offers a minimum commitment of three days per week, with working hours from 08:30 to 15:30. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, supporting students’ learning during teacher absences, and contributing to the vibrant school community. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively. Support students in their learning and ensure a positive and productive classroom environment. Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding practices. Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour. Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups as needed. About You The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting young people in their education. While previous teaching experience is not required, you should demonstrate: A genuine interest in education and working with secondary school students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage and engage groups of students confidently. A proactive and flexible approach to covering various lessons and subjects. Essential Requirements Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above). Eligibility to work in the UK. A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
