Role Responsibilities:
The role involves managing an assigned category of prescription medicines spanning key therapy areas such as Gastrointestinal, Cardiovascular, and CNS, among others. With support from the product management team, you will oversee all aspects of category marketing, with a strong focus on the commercial launch of pipeline products. The position requires driving the strategic growth of the category by ensuring sales and profit targets are met through the execution and monitoring of marketing strategies and product launches. You will:
* Serve as the therapy area champion, ensuring alignment with category plans across all stages of the product lifecycle, from roadmap development to post-launch activities.
* Lead successful product launches domestically and internationally, working with relevant tools and cross-functional teams.
* Develop, implement, and monitor strategic marketing plans, setting KPIs to achieve sales targets.
* Track category performance using data tools and provide insights to refine marketing strategies.
* Manage marketing budgets, ensuring expenditures align with financial plans.
* Oversee all elements of the marketing mix, including product propositions, packaging, promotions, and digital media campaigns.
* Create and implement impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with healthcare professionals.
* Develop compelling product value propositions to support market access and formulary pull-through.
* Maintain and update relevant category content on digital platforms, monitoring performance and ensuring functionality.
* Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing materials and provide product training.
* Engage with internal and senior stakeholders, offering insights and ensuring buy-in.
* Manage external agency relationships to ensure timely and compliant marketing material development.
* Ensure all materials comply with industry regulations, collaborating with regulatory and medical teams.
* Contribute to corporate market research to inform strategic approaches and understand customer and patient journeys.
* Address customer feedback effectively, working with relevant departments to resolve issues.
* Manage projects that promote the overall portfolio to healthcare professionals and patients.
* Uphold quality management objectives and ensure alignment with product specifications.
* Support the Head of Marketing in defining strategy and direction for various product categories.
