Thl UK & Ireland Ltd are the largest motorhome rental, sales and service company within the UK and Ireland. With current growth of the business, we are looking for Vehicle Preparation Assistants to come and join our busy Fleet Team. Reporting to the Fleet Delivery Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our motorhomes are ready for hire and sales. You will check over motorhomes for damage, safety issues and basic engine checks. Responsibilities Vehicle pre-checkout inspections. Minor internal fixes on the vehicle. Assist in the training of staff, both casual and permanent. Responsible for maintaining the high standard of cleanliness of the motorhomes, and cleaning when required. Moving vehicles around on and off-site when required. Operational stock management. Opening and closing of depot responsibilities on a rota basis. Organise and assist with end of day lock up procedure. Assist in the upkeep of all cleaning equipment, ensuring stock is readily available (including welcome packs, hoovers, full spray bottles etc). Quality control of vehicle cleanliness and safety inspections. Recording of accurate and concise information. Maintain yard map & ensure end of day vehicle stock take is correct. Person Specification Full UK driver’s license with more than two years’ experience. Ability to demonstrate our company values in the work you do each day. Good attention to detail and understanding of systems, processes and their importance. The ability to demonstrate strong relationship building skills. Ability to train and provide feedback to employees to create a strong workforce. Resilient and flexible, able to work in a fast paced and dynamic demanding environment. Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to regroup at short notice. Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations. This role is available on a full time (5 day week, 40 hours covering Monday - Sunday on a rota ) fixed term contract to 31st October 2025.
