What the Job Involves As a part of the Children’s Social Care team, you will assist the Business Support Service for the safeguarding team. Your main responsibilities will include taking minutes as a conference administrator and attending various meetings when needed. The role requires close collaboration with the Business Support Team and involves a range of administrative tasks such as typing formal correspondence, managing files, collating reports and records, handling phone calls and reception duties, and covering for colleagues as needed. Communication with professionals in Social Care and external bodies is essential, along with maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive child protection information. The position is based at Magdalen House in Bootle, but may involve working at other locations within Sefton Borough as required.
