THE COMPANY My client was founded 20 years ago and are a well-established team looking to grow in 2024 even more. They have a team of 35 people who deliver excellence to their HVAC customers. From an AC installation company to a full Mechanical contractor with a dedicated Service & Maintenance division. THE ROLE They are looking for an experienced HVAC, Air Conditioning Service Manager, who can hit the ground running and run the service department whilst being a part of a great team and office. Duties include. Manage a team of 3 service co-ordinators and 10 engineers Co-ordinate daily engineer activities: PPMs, Remedials and Call-outs Technical support for engineers and coordinators Check over job-sheets before they are sent on to client Assists coordinators price for remedial works Work under martin and myself (service and ops directors) Location: Office Based – Near Hemel Hempstead Salary: 45k - 65k Holiday: 25 Days plus 8 Bank Holidays Hours: 9am – 5:30pm Pension THE CANDIDATE You will be qualified as an HVAC engineer to senior level. Must have significant experience working as a senior or supervising HVAC engineer. Must have current & significant experience working as a Service Manager within an HVAC or Mechanical Contracting company. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry standards. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Proficiency in computer software for scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping. Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental guidelines for HVAC operations. Customer service skills & the ability to handle customer concerns effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
