Job description
Role
We�re looking for an Intelligence Analyst to develop and deliver high quality operational intelligence development products and investigation support to our teams and partners.
Responsibilities
You will:
1. Lead on the production of intelligence development reports that build a picture of received intelligence, generate inferences, identify intel gaps and recommendations, and make an assessment of threat posed.
2. Contribute to decision making relating to the triage, escalation, and disruption and enforcement activity on intelligence development cases.
3. Provide intelligence and analytical support to TPR criminal, civil, and regulatory investigations.
4. Produce a range of analytical products in support of development cases and investigations; including analysis of financial, communications and OSINT data.
5. Provide high quality intelligence support to the Automatic Enrolment teams, producing risk assessments and profiles on corporate entities of interest.
6. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop intelligence sharing and collaborative working opportunities.
7. Support Intel team to develop and align intelligence and analytical techniques and tools with national best practice, including participation in the Analyst Peer Group.
8. Drive personal development in line with TPR values and objectives.
9. Work to support other areas of the Intel Team as required.

Essential and Desirable Criteria
Essential
10. Sound knowledge and experience in analytical tools and techniques gained in an operational or regulatory environment.
11. Experience of developing and assessing intelligence in an operational or regulatory environment, making recommendations for action.
12. Experience of providing analytical support to operational/investigative teams.
13. Experience of conducting multi source research and communicating findings to customers.
14. Experience of handling sensitive information.
15. Experience of supporting continuous improvement and process development.
Desirable
16. Experience of using and working with large data sets and data mining tools.
17. Experience of working with OSINT, communications data, and financial intelligence.
18. Experience/knowledge of the pensions landscape.
19. Recognised Intelligence Analyst qualification.
20. Understanding of PACTT principles.
