About the Role:
Teaching Personnel Cardiff is currently looking for reliable and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day sickness cover in local schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting and make a difference in students' learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students during class activities.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support for students, helping with their individual learning needs.
* Supervise students during break times and ensure a safe and positive environment.
* Help with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
* Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere for students, encouraging their engagement and participation.
* Follow the school's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* No formal qualifications are required (ideal for those without prior experience in education).
* A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Experience working with children (e.g., in volunteer roles, babysitting, or sports coaching) is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
