The Converged Core network underpins 40% of UK broadband services and 70% of UK mobile backhaul. It is imperative that the people who work within Converged Core have a passion for what they do. The purpose of the Technical Project Professional within Converged Core is the scoping, management, and implementation of requests for Converged Core inputs to wider pieces of work across BT.
What you’ll be doing – your accountabilities
* Works with an integrated team in the delivery of end-to-end small-scale projects/programmes contributing to commercial benefit.
* Supports complex and large-scale projects with regional impact, coordinating through delivery of execution, analysis, recommendation, and implementation.
* Supports issue escalations, identifies project risks, dependencies, and project changes.
* Supports the development, documentation, and implementation of projects and change initiatives in line with BT Group policies.
* Supports timely reporting on project performance.
* Reviews, suggests, and executes process improvements.
* Facilitates effective working relationships between team members.
* Proactively identifies and manages risk through regular assessment.
* Ensures project delivery activity complies with the commercial obligations defined within external delivery contracts.
