What you’ll be doing
As a Sales Manager you will develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence within the industrial engineering and IoT sectors.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
* Identify and build relationships with potential clients in target industries
* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
* Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management
* Effectively address client-specific challenges and requirements through customising sales pitches and product demonstrations
* Coach and mentor a Sales Development Representative who will be working alongside you to identify new opportunities
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in England, UK.
You’ll have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
A few other key skills our client is looking for:
* Commercial experience in related technical fields
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
* Experience working with B2B clients in manufacturing, energy, logistics, or similar
* industries
* Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex engineering and IoT solutions
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
