Senior Site Manager
Location: Field base between Glasgow and Edinburgh Salary: Competitive

What you’ll do:
We're seeking a dynamic Senior Site Manager to enhance our Rail and Infrastructure team. In this pivotal role, you'll support the Contracts Manager in overseeing various arboriculture projects across Scotland. Your expertise will be instrumental in propelling our projects forward, making previous arboriculture experience essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the contract manager to oversee daily operations and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols on-site through regular audits and inspections.
2. Maintain efficiency and agility in managing fluctuating workloads while offering guidance and support to field based teams to enhance cohesion and productivity.
3. Skilfully price work and execute projects, delivering results that exceed expectations, while simultaneously leading the thorough scoping of sites, meticulously assessing project requirements and constraints.
4. Develop comprehensive task briefs to provide clear direction and alignment with project objectives, and engage with clients to address concerns and maintain satisfaction.
5. Effectively manage working hours to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel on-site, and strategically plan possessions to minimise disruptions and maximise efficiency.
6. Oversee the seamless execution of projects, promptly addressing any issues that arise to ensure project continuity and quality.
What we’re looking for:
7. Essential: Experience in Arb & De-vegetation pricing of works
8. Essential: Managing a team of Site Supervisors and Managers
9. Desirable: Rail experience
10. We are particularly welcoming applications from existing Site Managers possessing SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, First Aid plus F and COSS.
