Compliance Manager – Electrical, Lifts & PSSR

Length of contract: 6 months
Pay. £300-£340 per day
We are assisting a London NHS client with the recruitment of a Compliance Manager for Electrical, Lifts & PSSR on an 6 month Contract. The successful candidate will have had prior experience within the NHS in a similar position.
As Compliance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the Trust meets all legal and statutory requirements for Electrical, Lifts & PSSR services across our complex, multi-site organisation. You will act as the Trust’s lead expert in these areas, providing professional advice and driving compliance performance improvements. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will contribute to the development and implementation of compliance strategies aligned with the Trust’s vision for 2030.
Key responsibilities:
* Compliance Leadership: Develop and implement systems to monitor and ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and mandatory requirements for Electrical, Lifts & PSSR services.
* Quality Management: Oversee audits, monitor compliance metrics, and identify trends to drive improvements.
* Strategic Influence: Collaborate with operational teams to deliver innovative solutions that maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team, promoting the Trust’s values and championing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
* Performance Monitoring: Analyse and improve performance across the Trust’s estates and facilities, ensuring compliance with NHS standards.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams, senior stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
What we’re looking for:
* A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline within hard services.
* Substantial experience in a senior hard services role, with a focus on statutory compliance in an estates and facilities context.
* Extensive knowledge of legal and statutory requirements impacting building owners and occupiers.
* Proven track record in staff management, including external contractors.
* Strong skills in developing and implementing policies, writing technical reports, and leading audits.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
