We have a great opportunity to join our Building and Customer Safety Team, managing the Mechanical and Electrical contracts. You will be responsible for managing mechanical and electrical contracts to deliver compliance and building safety across all of our assets and ensuring that our buildings are safe and compliant with legislation, regulation and best practice. You will act as the technical lead for mechanical and electrical matters. This includes planning and development of the electrical and mechanical testing services, ensuring all works are completed to a high quality and in-line with regulatory requirements. You will provide a customer focussed service and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous engagement. Key tasks include: Management of statutory and non-statutory compliancy servicing contracts including Electrical installations and equipment, Lifts, communal aerials, mechanical ventilation. Planning and delivery of replacements of key equipment such as lifts, fixed electrical installations, electric heating. Developing and maintaining customer focused delivery of M&E functions, ensuring the highest quality and compliance with legislation, policy and best practice. Ensuring statutory compliance is managed and monitored effectively, taking a solution focussed approach, removing risk to the company where possible and identifying and implementing mitigation where complete removal is not possible. You'll need to have: Extensive experience managing a mechanical and electrical services, and managing risks associated. Experience managing M&E contracts through procurement, delivery and management of contracts. Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience of putting customers at the heart of your service. Proven experience of working within teams successfully delivering mechanical and electrical services. Experience in M&E and renewal/regeneration component replacement knowledge, standards and practice. Technical M&E related qualification desirable Ability to understand, analyse and report on M&E performance to provide accurate and relevant advice to key stakeholders, including colleagues and customers, Leadership and Committees Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing budgets and controlling expenditure Excellent oral and written communications Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, relevant software, and accurate recording for audit purposes.
