We are looking for an experienced senior physiotherapist with a wide range of clinical skills and supervisory experience to work within the Acute Medical Physiotherapy Team (9 staff in total). You will work 2 days a week in a physiotherapy leadership role across a range of acute medical and specialist services and contribute to the ongoing development of the physiotherapy team in line with the overall service aims and objectives You should have demonstrable advanced clinical skills/knowledge from relevant experience, postgraduate courses/in service, as evidenced in your Continued Professional Development portfolio with comprehensive knowledge of best practice / clinical guidelines / standards within a range of specialities relevant to this post. You will have a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge, have responsibility for the supervision, education and development of junior staff, physiotherapy support workers and students within the speciality, provide a specialised resource to other healthcare staff/patients/carers and have an active involvement in project work, service development, clinical governance and clinical effectiveness and be research active.
