Marketing Director (12 months FTC)

Type: 12 month fixed term contract
Role Purpose
The Director will work to implement marketing activity across Continental Europe (CE), collaborating with stakeholders who have pan-European roles. The role will be responsible for delivering a strategic marketing programme that drives new client acquisition and business growth, focusing on Account Based Marketing, digital-first integrated marketing campaigns, client communications, new product and service launches, and collateral creation.
Scope of Work
Stakeholder Engagement
1. Develop close relationships with European leadership to contribute to business strategy using excellent industry and competitor knowledge.
2. Drive the delivery of activity including pan-European client campaigns.
3. Work closely with the European Head of Marketing and Communications and the in-country Marketing Heads to deliver the overall marketing strategy.
4. Personify excellence in account management skills, ensuring each stakeholder interaction exceeds expectations.
5. Demonstrate excellent briefing and response skills at all times.
6. Execute all tactics efficiently and with an eye for detail and continuous improvement.
Marketing Strategy
1. Execute an annual programme of Account Based Marketing to assist the business in holding relevant and timely conversations with clients and targets.
2. Work closely with the Business Development and Sales teams to drive integrated ABM pursuit plans that align with clear revenue metrics.
3. Deploy insight, industry knowledge, and business understanding to refine campaign recommendations.
4. Work alongside country marketing heads to deliver integrated campaigns that materially contribute to business growth.
5. Accountability for brand and positioning communications including visual identity, key messaging, and tone of voice.
Campaign Management
1. Roll out global campaigns and implement local coordinated content campaigns across various channels.
2. Work collaboratively with the business to identify relevant client issues to support innovative product launches and marketing campaigns.
3. Ensure all campaigns add value at each stage of the client journey and reinforce CBRE’s brand and expertise.
Events
1. Responsibility for content creation, production delivery, and oversight of content-led events.
2. Work closely with the events team and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional client experiences.
3. Share materials and best practices with country marketing heads to ensure consistent event experiences throughout Europe.
4. Arrange panel sessions or speaking opportunities at external conferences and events.
5. Deliver a series of internal business education webinars.
Digital
1. Display a comprehensive understanding of opportunities afforded by social and digital channels.
2. Integrate digital into all campaigns, identifying opportunities where digital can replace other tactics.
3. Lead on the creation and promotion of video content for various initiatives.
Data Centres
1. Oversight and management of outsourced Data Centres marketing agency.
2. Liaise with the business to drive best return on investment from the agency.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Marketing expert with multi-channel marketing experience.
2. Proven track record of stakeholder engagement.
3. Strong skills in planning and execution.
4. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
5. Experience of content creation for events preferred.
6. Experience in Account Based Marketing Strategies preferred.
