We are recruiting a SEND teaching assistant role to work in the Edgbaston area in a 1-form entry “GOOD” OFSTED rated Primary School. This teaching assistant role is to work within a SEND class, based in a mainstream primary school. Our client is looking for a candidate with experience with Autism and challenging behaviour and any additional qualifications around SEND is desirable. This role will start in January 2025 and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-15:30). Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months A minimum of 2 excellent references Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant (LSA) you will receive Competitive Salary – between £85-£100 per day depending on experience, which equates to £16,578.90-£19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year £100 welcome to the team bonus paid automatically after working 10 days Pension Contributions The option of PAYE and Umbrella Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot KCSIE-compliant safeguarding and prevent duty training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse.
