The role We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Tamworth, reporting to the Site Financial Controller, this role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Finance professional looking to gain experience across a wide variety of areas. Please note that this role is based on site 5 days per week Job Overview As a Finance Assistant at IPL you will be involved in: Sales invoice processing � checking price, quantity, resolving queries to deadlines Raising and issuing Customer statements of account Assisting with reconciliation of supplier statements and GRNI accounts Helping the Inventory controller with inventory cycle counts to comply with cycle count policy, investigating reasons for variances Creating and issuing the daily sales report to the business, maintaining the sales database to allow accurate budgeting/forecasting decisions. Matching and scanning supplier delivery notes with purchase orders ready for final posting proposals of invoices to the GL Developing process notes for a number of transactional processes to ensure compliance with our internal control framework Assisting the finance team with sample evidence preparation for ABL, Internal and External audit. Posting and reconciling daily banking transaction receipts/payments/sweeps Working from Tamworth but across the UK sites via our ERP system to support transactional processing where appropriate Supporting on annual ABL site and desk audits, reporting regularly to Divisional finance. Providing holiday cover for AR/AP role and management accountant tasks Any other ad hoc duties that arise during day-to-day operations Key Requirements: Studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA Willing and eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to accurately process numerical data Possess a problem-solving attitude Have a good knowledge of Excel ERP experience is advantageous but not essential If you have the above experience and are looking for a role within a growth organisation, apply today to find out more
