Main duties of the job
As a dedicated and passionate Health & Wellbeing Coach delivering primarily on our weight management and smoking cessation services, you will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their overall health and well-being.
The role will include:

Job responsibilities
1. Conducting one-on-one consultations with participants to assess their readiness to change and their individual needs.
2. Providing ongoing support and encouragement to participants throughout their journey with the service.
3. Delivering group and 121 sessions face to face in the community, by telephone, and online.
4. Monitoring and evaluating participant progress.
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote the One You Haringey programme.
6. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and program outcomes.
7. Liaising with professionals including GPs and primary care staff to promote and generate referrals to the service.
8. Attending outreach events to promote the service within Haringey.
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working effectively in a team.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering high-quality customer service.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience of delivering group adult weight management classes to the community.
* Previous experience of delivering group exercise classes.
* Previous experience of delivering smoking cessation interventions.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
* GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification) OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
* Degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Sports & Exercise, Psychology, or related subject.
