About the role
The Fleet and Plant Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the “in life” scheduling of group owned, leased and short term hired, Plant & Equipment.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Coordinate all service and repair requests with the approved maintenance service providers.
* Build and maintain a strong supplier relationship to ensure effective coordination and management.
* Update and maintain designated business systems with relevant Asset and Maintenance information and monitor asset performance.
* Audit suppliers' works, competencies, and compliance.
* Ensure that all Fleet procured is fit for purpose and meets all regulatory requirements.
* Monitor, assess and interpret data for reporting.
* There is a tool of trade vehicle provided due to travel requirements within the state.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in managing the maintenance of fleets, plants, and equipment, along with robust skills in scheduling and strategic planning.
* Strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving.
* Detail-oriented and self-motivated professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
* Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external stakeholders.
* Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and SAP (desirable).
* Relevant trade/tertiary qualification (Diesel Mechanic desirable) or substantial experience working in a relevant maintenance discipline.
* Current Australian driver's licence.
