Lead Delivery Manager £326.15 per day INSIDE IR35 Full Time 6 month contract Predominantly remote with some travel to offices in Cardiff. CF11 BACKGROUND As a Lead Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high risk products, projects and services. You will have a high standard of previous experience managing a range of products, projects and services and have responsibility and accountability as the main point of escalation. The Lead Delivery Manager will have strong communication skills and be able to engage with a variety of stakeholders. You will be required to coach and mentor senior delivery managers and other team members DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Expertly coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean practices and act as a recognised expert and advocate for the approaches, continuously reflecting and challenging the team. Create or tailor new ways of working and constantly innovate. Coach, train and mentor other teams as the central point of expertise. Apply highly developed specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures and practices, underpinning theoretical knowledge and relevant practical experience. Line manages the scrum team. Be a leading member of the delivery community of practice; coaching, training and mentor others and sharing expert knowledge and best practice SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Advanced commercial and financial acumen. Leadership and mentorship skills. Strong negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills to maintain delivery momentum and address or resolve issues and risks promptly. Expert life cycle management skills. Manages products or services from planning stages through to delivery and ongoing iteration. Excellent people skills and demonstrable emotional intelligence. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely document plans and deliverables. Able to navigate and negotiate through complex or contentious situations. Strong leadership and management skills; planning and organisation of several complex activities or programmes, which require the formulation and adjustment of plans. Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh The initial duration of this agreement will be for six (6) months with a potential to extend by mutual agreement for a further six (6) months.
