Role Overview:
As a Maternity Bereavement Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing emotional and psychological support to families who have experienced the loss of a baby. This role requires a compassionate and empathetic individual who can offer a safe space for grieving parents, helping them navigate their emotions and find ways to cope with their loss. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including midwives, doctors, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for bereaved families.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to parents and families who have experienced a loss.
* Facilitate support groups and workshops for bereaved families.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each family.
* Offer guidance and support to hospital staff dealing with bereavement cases.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and care plans.
* Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in bereavement counselling.
* Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
* Collaborate with external support organizations and networks to provide comprehensive care.
