Exciting Full-Time Opportunity: Payroll Processing Manager at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
We are delighted to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Payroll Processing Manager at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As the Payroll Processing Manager, you will facilitate efficient and accurate weekly and monthly payroll timetables. You will also be responsible for all reporting submissions for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Trust's Corporate payroll and associated systems, including the Electronic Staff Records system (ESR), E-expenses, and E-Rostering interfaces.
2. Collaborate closely with the Payroll and Pensions Manager to support system-related activities.
3. Support the delivery of excellent pension administration services in line with best practice reporting standards.

Essential
1. Excellent computer keyboard skills.
2. Excellent numerical and verbal skills.
3. Excellent analytical skills.
4. Excellent working knowledge of IT packages, including Word, Excel and computerised Finance Systems including ESR.
5. Knowledge of Agenda for change, Doctor Contracts as Appointment commission's terms and conditions.
Desirable
1. Knowledge of Year-End procedures.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of ESR.
Qualifications
Essential
1. Good secondary education.
2. To hold a recognised Payroll Supervisory qualification (i.e. CIPP or Payroll NVQ level 5) or qualified by experience.

1. Willing to undertake training as applicable in respect of IT training needs, statutory regulations and department processes.
Experience

1. Previous experience of working in a Payroll and Pensions Dept.
2. Previous experience of ESR system and provision of management information.
3. Previous experience of team working.
4. Previous experience of supervision and coordination of a team.
