An expanding homeware distributor is looking for an Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of SEO strategy as well as execution and managing a profitable PPC strategy with our external development agency. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive the best experience on their website while it captures new market shares on profitable margins.
Salary: 45K-50K
Job Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Hybrid Policy: 3 days on site
Responsibilities:
1. Own the Ecommerce strategy and explore areas for growth across various channels.
2. Manage the Ecommerce / Digital marketing team.
3. Create a roadmap for optimization for the customer journey, identifying barriers and monitoring Ecommerce trends.
4. Analyze and report website metrics, customer engagement, and conversion on site.
5. Drive the Ecommerce channel to achieve yearly targets and KPIs.
6. Improve the Ecommerce channel's P&L.
7. Work with third-party suppliers to implement enhancements to the website, such as referral programs, email solutions, and content management.
8. Work closely with buying and merchandising to ensure products go live on time for product launches.
Requirements:
1. Background in an Ecommerce position, managing and leading teams with knowledge of Ecommerce strategy and tactics.
2. Previous experience with P&L.
3. Experience managing PPC across Bing, Google, and Facebook.
4. Experience executing SEO best practices.
5. Magento proficiency is a must.
6. Problem solving and lateral thinking.
7. Up to date with Ecommerce trends and market developments.
