Ramboll is accepting applications for intern engineers at our office located in Liverpool, NY. Our new Engineer will be assigned a mentor who will guide them through project assignments and gain experience working in one or more practice areas such as PLC programming, SCADA development, and Robotics.
Your new role
As our new Engineer, you will work on a diverse set of controls, SCADA, robotics, and automation projects with our existing engineering team. You will be exposed to various controls and automation software packages and gain hands-on experience with instrumentation and automation hardware.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Gain real project experience alongside experienced engineers
* Assist in programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems utilizing industry-leading software
* Participate in Client/Stakeholder interactions, with potential onsite occurrences
* Plan Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) protocols and troubleshoot control processes
* Gain exposure to multiple manufacturing industries
Your new team
You will be part of the Process Controls & Data Solutions team that focuses on instrumentation, controls, SCADA, robotics, and automation. We work with many industries including metals, aerospace, food & beverage, industrial water/wastewater treatment, and municipal water/wastewater treatment. We work directly with our UL-listed panel shop and field technicians to support our endeavors for complete turn-key solutions for our clients.
