Restaurant Manager / House Manager is required for a small venue in the Cotswolds. This venue is for pre-bookings only and not open to the general public. It is very different from anything else in the area, focusing on small numbers and guests eating what they want, rather than being restricted to a set menu. The venue is high-end, at a rosette level, with very high service standards and discretion, catering to wealthy guests. This House Manager role will include all the standard duties of a House Manager, with a salary of £31,800 including service, and live-in accommodation if relocating.
The Role
We are looking for a House Manager (operations manager or restaurant manager) who will run the day-to-day operations of this amazing private venue. It is a closed-gate venue not open to the general public. The chefs prepare dishes based on guests' preferences using seasonal produce. The beverage selection includes high-end drinks typical of such venues. As a House Manager, you will greet customers in the car park, escort them to their bedrooms, and show them the bar area. The venue also hosts small-scale weddings and events, maintaining low numbers and high standards. You will ensure that these high-net-worth guests have an exceptional stay. This role includes all the standard house manager duties.
Experience
We are looking for a House Manager with a rosette background who can deliver excellent customer service with a restaurant/hotel background. You will possess fantastic product knowledge and excel in delivery. You might be a restaurant manager or F&B manager, but the most important qualification is a strong food and drink background.
