Resources Caseworker
We are seeking to appoint a Resources Caseworker (HR & Legal) on a fixed-term basis until 31/12/2024. Working within a team of Caseworkers you will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service.
What you need to succeed in this role:
At a minimum, you will be able to demonstrate:
* The ability to work as part of a team
* Strong administrative skills
* Good organisational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively
* Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with people at all levels
* The ability to use your own initiative
* Excellent attention to detail
* A good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills
* The desire to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes
* A background in HR or Recruitment would be desirable but not essential
What you'll do on a typical day:
* Process pre-employment clearances for new starters, ensuring checks are carried out in a timely manner and communicating with the hiring managers throughout
* Draft and issue contracts and a variety of different letters to employees
* Respond to general HR enquiries from internal and external customers by phone, email and our internal helpdesk
* Raising purchase orders and processing invoices for payment
* Maintaining and updating employee records on our HR system
* Liaising with payroll and line managers across the organisation to ensure any contractual changes are actioned appropriately and in time for the monthly payroll
* Assisting our Specialist Teams with projects as and when required
* Maintain accurate records and update the relevant systems and databases
* Prepare Legal documents for signing/sealing under instruction from Legal Specialists
* Respond to email enquiries from conveyancing solicitors regarding management packs, co-ordinating the responses from specialists across the organisation
* Provide support as required for other officers within the caseworker team
