THE ROLE
Job Title: Commercial, Rights and Business Affairs Assistant
Band: B
Contract: 6 month FTC
Location: BBC, Belfast. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.
Salary: £25,000-£35,000 pa depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Job Information
The BBC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial, Rights and Business Affairs Assistant to join our team in Belfast. This role is primarily focused on production contracting, and we are looking for a candidate with experience of Business Affairs work in this area.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Working with production teams to facilitate smooth contracting and payment of Artists and Contributors.
2. Responding to production queries.
3. Utilizing ACON software (Artist Contracting system) for contract management and administration.
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience
1. Proven experience in production contracting.
2. Proficiency in using BBC ACON software.
3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
