Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on equipment.
2. Interpreting engineering drawings to fault-find and identify spare parts required.
3. Documenting and prioritizing work through a CMMS system.
4. Operating within all HS&E standards and policies.
5. Being responsible for the safe upkeep and reliability of production assets used in the manufacturing of aircraft parts.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Hold a time-served engineering maintenance apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3), OR HNC in mechanical engineering.
2. Suitable experience working with furnaces, NDT equipment, or surface finish equipment.
3. Must be able to read mechanical drawings, including assembly and schematics.
4. Fabrication and fitting skills (core bench-fitting skills necessary).
5. Ability to demonstrate fault-finding skills/abilities.
6. Have knowledge of lean, 5S & 6 Sigma methodologies.
