We are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated Registered Nurses to work within Medicine on Oakdale Ward, our Stroke Rehabilitation ward based in Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr.

We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, so you will need to have a flexible approach to take part in a full shift system including nights and weekend working, in some areas on a 12-hour shift system or on a three-shift system.

Main duties of the job
1. To support the Senior staff with the running of the medical ward on a shift by shift basis.
2. To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
3. To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
4. To develop an understanding of the requirements of the National Service Framework.
5. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
