I have partnered with a global wholesaler, who are looking for an experienced Sales Support to join their team. The ideal candidate will be heavily experienced within a similar role, confident and able to build long-standing client relationships to maximize business.
Responsibilities in the Sales Support role –
1. Work closely with Account Managers, following up on quotations and chasing leads.
2. Support the customer service team and sales department by gaining support and building relationships with clients.
3. Generate and provide reports based on turnover, assortment, and profitability to be used internally and externally.
4. Translate topics from supply chain and purchasing to sales.
5. Lead communication to customers regarding the distribution of new products, packaging, promotion management, and NPD samples.
6. Coach your customer service and sales support team.
Experience required for the Sales Support role –
1. A minimum of 5 years experience in a large fast-moving organization, in a similar role (sales, customer service, account management) OR a master's degree.
2. Ability to adapt to new systems OR experience using SAP and Power BI.
3. Strong networking skills and the ability to build new relationships on an international level.
4. A commercial, sales-focused mindset and initiative to build relationships with clients to maximize sales and business.
5. A positive attitude towards business growth and success.
6. A career-driven individual, looking to develop their knowledge and experience.
7. Collaborate to prepare and follow up tenders and quotations.
Extra information for the Sales Support role –
1. Monday – Friday 08:00AM – 17:00PM
2. Hybrid working – 2 days at home!
3. Salary between £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
4. 21 days holiday + bank holidays.
5. Cycle to work scheme.
